THE CLOCK ROOM, British Museum
There is something so soothing about this room; the gentle tick and tock, the constantly slowly ever-working, the simple machinery simply… ahm, machineing.
The British Museum hides many treasures. There is a bone with a shopping list printed on it, nudie statues with signs pointing at their willies, some of the most breathtaking mix of architechture I’ve ever seen; but there is a special place in my heart for the clock room.
No matter how short a visit I have in the museum I always make some time to go to the second floor and visit the two small rooms.

These are beautiful. I’ll have to check out this room – I somehow missed it on my last couple of visits!
You’ve made me see it in a whole new light – lovely timeless shots
Haha. Timeless. Geddit.
